Beauty at its Best, the Nokia N79

December 15th, 2008 by Best Mobile Contracts

Nokia-N79As a big techie fan of mobile phones and a constant hunter for great mobile phone deals, I personally keep myself up to date with the latest releases of Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, and even HTC.  I have seen and reviewed most of the phones that have been released recently, but one of the soon-to-be releases of the N-Series really caught my eye with its small, compact keypad and matching screen and cover colors.  I’m talking about the Nokia N79, one of the newest and most attractive media phones ever to be released in the markets of 2008.

The phone is a classic hand phone of 110x49x15 mm in dimension.  It weighs about 97 g and its display is about 2.4 inches in size.  It is designed with a 320×240 pixel resolution with up to 16 million colors that comes with a light sensor.  It falls under the Xpress-on type of cover design and the package includes light sea blue, espresso brown, and even olive green as customizable back covered in contrast with the canvas white color of its cover.  The battery also has optimum power which can last for almost 24 hours in playback, video recording, and talk time.  You can also be assured that this is the media phone to go since it has an in-box swappable microSD memory card of up to 8 GB in space.

Now that we’ve covered the icing of this white beauty, let me get down to the phone’s cool features.  The N79 is quite inclined on the media side though it has optimum functionality with regards to text messaging, calling, and web browsing.  Some of the features include:

(A.) A 5 megapixel camera where you can take great images supported in .jpg and Exif files.  It is equipped with Carl Zeiss optics, Tessar lens, and has 20x digital zoom with autofocus functionality.  Its focal length is up to 5.2 mm and it has Duel LED flash with flash modes of either on, off, automatic, and red eye reduction.

(B.) Your favorite music can be played at its best quality with the Nokia N-Series digital music player.  The player consists of Playlists, the equalizer, and you select your songs according to artist, album, and genre.  You can also do audio streaming and have a built-in FM radio with RDS support.

(C.) For voice, the N79 is built with a text-to-speech functionality where you can input data and an audio version of the text is produced.  Aside from this you have voice commands, enhanced voice dialing, and a digital stereo microphone that will create the best sound quality in every voice recording that you do.

The N79 has features that make it such an object of sheer anticipation for the year 2008.  With all these features and the fact that you can customize almost everything about it, I would have to say that it is a model that will provide all the needs and wants of a media-inclined mobile phone user.  Look out for a good bargain if you wish, just make sure that is the Nokia N79
