Facebook fans may already have spotted the invite and confirmed their attendance for what will likely be a celebration of the launch of the HTC Sensation.

HTC’s Facebook page is promoting a London gathering for fans on Tuesday 12 April – and we suspect it is to introduce the rumoured Sensation, previously known as Pyramid. Earlier this week, we confirmed the name change for the upcoming HTC smartphone and all the rumours suggest this event will be in honour of the dual-core, Gingerbread-based handset – which is expected to officially launch earlier in the day on 12 April.

The company’s Facebook page states: “London, we thought it was high time we had another get-together. We had so much fun with you all last time.

“We hope all of you can drop by, chill-out and have a chat with us. We will have food and drink, and we’ll also have an exclusive set by a pioneering UK DJ. But most excitingly, we have some exciting news to share with you! It is guaranteed to be a sensory experience.

“Make sure your friends don’t miss out – bring them along with you.”

The event starts at 7.30pm and admittance is on a first-come first-served basis – if you want to go along, you need to RSVP by clicking the “I’m attending” button on the HTC Facebook page.

There is no official word that this party will include the HTC Sensation but we suspect the upcoming handset will make an appearance.

Of course, the other HTC phone which may be introduced during this event instead – or possibly alongside the HTC Sensation – is the HTC Evo 3D mobile. Featuring a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4.3 inch 3D display, and a dual 5-megapixel camera with support for 3D video recording, the Evo 3D is one exciting device.

Are you planning to go the HTC party? And which HTC phone are you hoping to see on the night?
