March 19th, 2010 by Best Mobile Contracts

Sony Ericsson SatioJust a day ago, we were able to confirm that 3 Mobile will be delivering the Spotify music streaming service to the Sony Ericsson Vivaz. Now, it looks like Sony is adding even more music functionality to the smart phone in the form of a humble little equalizer for managing music settings for playback.

The equalizer comes with manual settings and presets for specific music genres or preferred speaker settings for that customized music feel –it also helps being able to set the equalizer to match the acoustic qualities of earphones, headphones or earbud-type devices.

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz is a Symbian smart phone with an 8 mega pixel camera that can record videos in 720p HD quality. This sleek little media centric smart phone will be joy of amateur film makers with the amazing camera. Works can be easily uploaded online thanks to the Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Picasa integrated applications. The phone uses the Symbian S60 5th edition operating system which is easy to use and navigate.

Sony Ericsson Vivaz 1This device was originally announced as the SE Kurara and was finally given a new name when it was shown off at the Mobile World Congress last month. Also shown was the SE Vivaz pro which would come with a QWERTY keyboard but only a 5 mega pixel camera.

The Sony Ericsson Satio is SE’s big ticket device of last year. Unfortunately for the joint venture, the unit suffered from several firmware problems that caused the phone to be pulled out of shelves and suspended from sales. A patch that fixed the problems was released by December just in time to have the phone available for the holidays. The phone runs on the ARM A8 CPU at 600MHz.
