Mobile virtual network operator 3 Mobile will be offering the Symbian HD smart phone, Sony Ericsson Vivaz.
While we originally thought that Vodafone would be getting first dibs on this impressive device, the MVNO has come out to steal the glory by announcing its various tariff plans for the handset. The announcement even comes with an extra bonus, 3 will be adding Spotify to the services available on the Vivaz, which means that the phone will not only have amazing video recording capabilities, but it will also be a music streaming device was well.
For as low as £10 each month, users can get the Spotify service on their Vivaz; when added to a nice £35 monthly tariff, this impressive offer becomes a must have for media fanatics.
Spotify is a perfect service to subscribe to since they deliver CD quality audio streams. They also have a vast library of tracks to choose from –best of all, the service is advertisement free.
The Sony Ericsson Vivaz was first revealed last year as the Kurara. The device was shown in a series of leaked images that quickly identified it as an HD device (there was an HD marking on the back of the phone). Last December, a pre production model was demonstrated using the phone’s 8 mega pixel camera to shoot images and running the 720p video recording capabilities.
Aside from the upcoming Vivaz, Sony has several another upcoming device for April, the XPERIA X10. This smart phone comes with a 4 inch capacitive touch screen and a Snapdragon 1GHz CPU. The Vivaz Pro, which has yet to be scheduled for release, is a second edition of the Vivaz that comes with a QWERTY keyboard and a 5 mega pixel camera.
