TigerText: Complete Message Control

March 4th, 2010 by Best Mobile Contracts

Apple iPhoneHave you ever sent a text message that you wish you never did? Well, you would never be able to actually stop a recipient from being able to read what you sent, but a new iPhone App will at least allow you to be a little more careful next time.

Many people have already suffered blows to their careers by sending out messages that complain about work conditions, environments and most importantly, bosses. These messages, despite being personal opinions and being perfectly normal to think, would still have ramifications should it reach the hands of certain people. Office rivals would not hesitate to use the message against you, and your own bosses can find out that you hate them.

TigerText is a unique app that completely replaces the texting or messaging services you have on the iPhone. In place, you will get a similar looking feature that allows you to control the lifespan of messages you store in your phone and how long they will last in the inboxes of your recipients.

The only drawback is that the recipient deletion system would only work if your recipient is also using the TigerText messaging app. Without this, the message expiry will not kick in at all. At least on your own phone, you can easily determine what stays and what goes.

Obviously, this app will be useful for people with plenty to hide. While this may help out when you work in a place with snoopy office mates or friends who cannot keep their hands to themselves, it does lend a bit of suspicious air among people you are open with. Expect to get questions about what things you are hiding when discussing this new feature with very close friends and family.
