New Gadgets for Sony Ericsson’s Lineup

Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro (1)Sony Ericsson just added three new impressive devices to their 2010 lineup.

As you may already know, the mobile phone industry is already looking forward to three SE phones; the Snapdragon Android XPERIA X10 and the Symbian HD recording Vivaz is expected to be released this coming March, and the Greenheart Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Aspen is expected to be released around Q2 of 2010. Last Sunday, at the Mobile World Congress, Sony Ericsson showcased three new phones that will be released around the same time as the Aspen.

Heading the lineup of the new devices is the XPERIA X10 Mini. As you would expect from the name, the X10 Mini is a watered down version of the XPERIA X10. The large 4 inch touch screen display and the 1GHz Snapdragon processor will no longer be present, but this will give the Mini a significantly smaller size (almost half the size of the X10). It was also revealed that the Mini will be made available in various colors too.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 MiniOriginally the XPERIA X10 Mini was named the Robyn when the device was initially leaked to the public, though even at that point many have already nicknamed the device as X10 Mini. Next in line of Sony Ericsson’s new devices is the X10 Mini Pro. In terms of specs, the two devices are pretty much alike, with the addition of a slide out QWERTY keyboard for the Pro.

Third in Sony Ericsson’s debut list is the Vivaz Pro. This device was previously known as the Kanna, sporting many of the original specifications of the original Kurara (now the Vivaz). Now, it appears that the Vivaz Pro will indeed have most of the Vivaz’ original specs with the exception of the camera which is downgraded to 5 mega pixels.
