Here’s what we know so far.  Fact: Google will make another self-branded mobile phone and the Apple iPhone 4G will be announced or unveiled some time soon.

Right now, the most of the rumors and reports point to Motorola being Google’s partner in creating the next Nexus phone. With Motorola currently running the Shadow project, many are pointing at this device as the most plausible candidate for Nexus Two.

It has already been reported that the next Android phone from Google would be a business oriented device that has a physical keyboard. Form-wise, the Shadow fits nicely. The smart phone looks like a streamlined version of the Motorola Milestone (or DROID in the US) complete with a full slide out QWERTY keyboard. With Motorola’s good history with Google, it would not be surprising to see them make the next Google phone.

Of course, there is a lot riding on the Nexus Two. The device will not only have to be a great mobile phone, but it would have to redeem the failures of the Nexus One. Until now, the N One is suffering from low sales and 3G connection problems. While Google has confirmed that a fix is underway, it will still be about two more weeks until anything final can be given.

Apple has just recently launched the iPad and would now be focused on the upcoming iPhone 4G. It is expected that the new iPhone would have a powerful processor (such as the dual core Snapdragon or a variation of the A4). The phone has been reported to have a touch sensitive casing and a removable battery. Looks like Apple is trying out something new for the 4G and the Nexus Two has a lot to catch up with.
